Stumped

Lots of things to do and I'm really not in the mood to do it.

New Blog design:

I'm stumped. I can't think of a decent blog design. I though of putting as a header part of a pattern/drawing I made. And now I don't know where to put it. It looks something like this:
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

And then I thought of tracing it in Adobe Illustrator (ha! I'm actually learning this program. Frustrating though.) And now it looks something like this.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Then I colored it. And it looks weird and depressing now.

I hate it! I can't move on from here. Maybe I won't use it anymore and draw something else.

Paper for ComEthics:

Pwet! I hate doing papers and besides, I didn't watch the beginning of the movie (Absence of Malice). Oh well... bahala na. Help me oh Microsoft Word and Wordweb to pick and choose the right words so that my paper would look like I really thought about it.

That's about it. Bumming around has its perks. I kinda slept the whole day (with Prince making my hair his pillow... kadiri mehn! Thankfully he didn't drool on it). I get to read all day. I just finished The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. I think this is the book I've read so far (well... until the next book that I read). It made me cry alot... the time when Amir had to send Hassan away because his guilt couldn't take it anymore, the time when Baba died, Baba's best friend Rahim Khan, Hassan's son and so on. (Oooopsss!! spoilers!) This book got me thinking about the decisions that we make when we are young. It kinda made me realize that everything that is happening to me today is because of my decision and not anyone's (gets?).

"I became what I am today at the age of 12..." (p1.)

A lot to think about. And then I go into the whole can't-sleep-because-I-want-to-think-about-the-things-I-did-when-I-was-a-kid mode. And then going through the whole episode of... Wow! Were the Taliban really that cruel? Hahaha I'm a pretty bad "book review-er" hahaha. Another line from the book:

"For you a thousand times over..."

Another wow. I hope someday I could say this it someone and really mean it.

Next read: The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova which I can't seem to finish. It's a Dracula novel (that's why I can't finish it...)
